Claiming lost property<br />
Costly items:- I-Pads, Mobiles, Watches, Diamond/ Gold / Silver Jewellery will be<br />
handed over to their respective owner / Section In charge with the proof of ownership &<br />
identity will be taken in consideration. Other Materials:- Enquiries about items of lost<br />
property can be made at the “Security Department”. Proof of ownership or identity must<br />
be established to the satisfaction of the member of staff handling the reclaim of the<br />
property. Details will be taken and entered into the lost & found register and the item(s)<br />
signed for. All found items will be displayed for identification at reception main gate on<br />
every Friday & this practice will continue on 04 consecutive Friday. The school is not<br />
liable to pay or compensate for any articles lost by the students. Parents are advised not to<br />
send expensive items with their wards. However they can visit the lost and found room<br />
(Primary section store room) to search for the missing items/articles.<br />

GDGIS Transport Availability Rules for Students<br />
1. Students can avail the school transport subject to availability. The service is not<br />
mandatory but only an extra facility which can be withdrawn at any time, at a short<br />
notice at the Management's sole discretion.<br />
2. Routes of school buses are drawn up carefully after giving due consideration to the<br />
convenience of the parents. However the decision of the school authorities on routing,<br />
timing, pick up point etc of the bus will be final.<br />
3. Parents should contact the school transport in charge for necessary details. Students<br />
are not allowed to change their buses under any circumstances eg: Visiting friends or<br />
relatives etc. If any change has to be made parents are requested to come personally<br />
and pick up the students after obtaining permission from the concerned authority. In<br />
case of a change of residential address or b us stop kindly intimate the school.<br />
4. A clear calendar month's notice is required before a student discontinues the use of<br />
school transport. However discontinuation of the school transport facility in the<br />
fourth (4th) Quarter of the academic session will not be permitted. Students wishing<br />
to avail school transport facility from mid-session will have to pay the bus charges on<br />
pro-rata basis.<br />
5. Students are requested not to damage, disfigure or destroy school property. Cost of<br />
any damage to cushions, covers, curtains or any other fittings, fixtures etc. in the bus<br />
shall be recovered from the parents of the student(s) concerned. Indiscipline in the<br />
bus will not be tolerated and may lead to debarring the students from travelling in the<br />
bus or even discontinuation of the bus service from him/her.<br />
