The following mediums are used for communication with students:
1) Administrative instructions are published from time to time. All students are expected
to read the notices displayed on the notice boards.
2) Important announcements are made during the morning assembly.
3) The teachers or school Captain/Prefect will make important announcements during
breakfast or meals.
4) Special address by Principal / Vice-Principal or Academic Coordinator.

Guidelines for Identifying & Improving the
Academic Performance of Students
1. Identification of the weak performers. - Securing marks less than the pass % - Lack of
self confidence or Interest - Inadequate knowledge of English
2. Areas of concern can be found out and accordingly more practice on that can be given.
3. Remedial classes to be arranged and proper guidelines can be given to them.
4. They must be made to sit in front.
5. Session should start by asking them what they know and build their knowledge and
confidence by teaching familiar material.
6. Gradual movement should be there towards difficult topics.
7. Proper Teaching Aids should be used.
8. Be open to questions asked by students by creating a comfortable environment for
them.
9. Encourage students to ask questions and give them good words of appreciation.
10. They can be counselled by the counsellor.
11. Comparative Analysis of the result can be done and a feedback must be given to
parents.
