Homework Rules for GDGIS Students<br />

1. Comprehensive exercises should be discussed in class & then students should be<br />

encouraged to write all answers on their own.<br />

2. Creative writing in the languages should be discussed in class. · Key words should be<br />

given on the board. · The final writing assignment may then be completed at home.<br />

3. The home assignment for the primary class must have: · No written work should more<br />

than 20 minutes · One written assignment besides five sums in Maths & two oral or<br />

learning assignments can be given every day. Two written assignments can be given on<br />

Friday besides the Maths assignment.<br />

4. The home assignment for the middle section must have · No written work more than 30<br />

minutes · The written assignment besides the Maths exercise · Three written assignments<br />

can be given on a Friday. No assignments are given the day before class tests for both<br />

primary and middle section.<br />

Safety Rules for GDGIS Students<br />

1. Students below the age of 16 are not allowed on self vehicles.<br />

2. Children between the age 16-18 must produce Learning License if coming on twowheeler<br />

with helmet compulsory.<br />

3. School will restrict the entry of the student in the absence of the License.<br />

4. Parents must not allow this and respect the decision of the school.<br />

5. They should not take a ride from any stranger.<br />

ID Card Rules for GDGIS Students<br />

1. A student who has lost his/her ID Card should report this to the Tuck Shop as soon as<br />

possible to invalidate the card and apply for a replacement. Until the loss is reported and<br />

the old card invalidated, the student may be held responsible for any unauthorised use of<br />

that card.<br />

2. Replacement of ID Card due to loss, damage or theft will attract a charge as follows,<br />

1st Replacement – Rs.100<br />

3. Students should return their Student Identity Cards to the School for cancellation upon<br />

withdrawal.<br />
