iPad Rules and Regulation for GDGIS Students 27. Getting the personal iPads to school is prohibited. If at all due to any damage or any technical errors the school iPads cannot be used, only then, with the permission of the authorities can the personal iPads be brought to school, if there is any misuse found in the personal iPads, it can result into confiscation of the same 28. It is the joint responsibility of parents & school to maintain the iPad, so we expect cooperation from both the parents & students. Alternate surprise checking of Student's I pad will be done & if any student has any illegal Applications, Video, Games, Cydia & Jailbreak, it will be actionable as it is against Discipline of iPad. If found violating any iPad rules, parents will be called. SOP For Google Classroom (students) 1. To Start up Open a web browser and go to the Google classroom webpage: https://classroom.google.com. Teachers/Students can also log in through the Google Classroom Application. 2. Students have to use their GDGIS E-Mail username and password. Click “Logon”. (Like: class06a22@classroom.gdgoenkasurat.com) 3. To join the class open your email: https://mail.google.com/a/gdgoenkasurat.com and log in with your GDGIS username and password. Or login through browser and application to accept the invitation given by the teacher. 4. Students can view Post, Attachment, and Assignments in the class stream. Students can download all the attachments like; ppts,videos, notes, etc. 5. Select the class Assignments shown in the STREAM in the order that they were assigned. 6. Complete an Assignment There are two ways to complete an assignment in Classroom: I. To attach anything to the assignment, follow the steps to turn in an assignment. II. If there are no attachments for the assignment, follow the steps to mark an assignment done. 7. Students can edit an assignment after turning it in. However, any assignment turned in or marked as done after the due date is considered late. 8. Turn in an Assignment Go to the class STREAM and click the assignment student want to turn in. Student can also access the assignments through the Assignments page. 9. Mark an Assignment Done Go to the class STREAM and click the assignment to mark as done. Students can also access the assignments through the Assignments page. Click MARK AS DONE. 150
SOP For Google Classroom (students) 10. You can Edit Your Assignment after Submitting Go to the class STREAM and click the assignment you want to edit. You can also access your assignments through the Assignments page. I. Click UNSUBMIT and click UNSUBMIT again. Your status for this assignment changes to “Not Done” so make sure you turn it back on before the due date! II. Make any necessary changes and attach any new documents or links. III. If you add an attachment, click TURN IN or MARK AS DONE if there are no attachments. IV. Add a private note to your teacher if needed and click TURN IN or MARK AS DONE. Suspension & Expulsion Rules for GDGIS Students 1. Whenever a student is guilty of disobedience or misconduct 2. Threatened, attempted or caused injury to other, theft and damage to the school property 3. Any sort of gadget other than those permitted in school like I pad or calculators for certain classes. 4. Disrespectful behaviour towards teachers, talking back, obscene act, vulgarity and use of abusive or slang language 5. Creating hostile school environment 6. If the actions mentioned above are repeated it may lead to the expulsion of the child. Withdrawal Rules for GDGIS Students 1. Students wishing to withdraw should give at least one semester's notice. (Apr- Sep/Oct-Mar) 2. In case of Withdrawal, fees pertaining to the semester falling in the notice period shall be payable by the student. 3. All refunds if any on special approval by chairperson will be paid after obtaining clearance certificate and after 1 month from the last day of the student at the school. 4. In case of withdrawal on medical grounds in any semester, subjected to the submission of original medical documents, then further approved by the management, the school will thereof be liable to refund balance amount after deducting 3 months fees of particular semester. Enrichment fees will not be refundable. 5. All refund transaction should be in the form of D.D. / Cheque only. 6. Transfer Certificates shall be issued only when the accounts office receives the duly completed clearance form. 151
