iPad Rules and Regulation for GDGIS Students<br />

27. Getting the personal iPads to school is prohibited. If at all due to any damage or any<br />

technical errors the school iPads cannot be used, only then, with the permission of the<br />

authorities can the personal iPads be brought to school, if there is any misuse found in the<br />

personal iPads, it can result into confiscation of the same<br />

28. It is the joint responsibility of parents & school to maintain the iPad, so we expect<br />

cooperation from both the parents & students.<br />

Alternate surprise checking of Student's I pad will<br />

be done & if any student has any illegal Applications,<br />

Video, Games, Cydia & Jailbreak, it will be actionable<br />

as it is against Discipline of iPad. If found violating<br />

any iPad rules, parents will be called.<br />

SOP For Google Classroom (students)<br />

1. To Start up Open a web browser and go to the Google classroom webpage:<br />

https://classroom.google.com. Teachers/Students can also log in through the Google<br />

Classroom Application.<br />

2. Students have to use their GDGIS E-Mail username and password. Click “Logon”.<br />

(Like: class06a22@classroom.gdgoenkasurat.com)<br />

3. To join the class open your email: https://mail.google.com/a/gdgoenkasurat.com and<br />

log in with your GDGIS username and password. Or login through browser and<br />

application to accept the invitation given by the teacher.<br />

4. Students can view Post, Attachment, and Assignments in the class stream. Students<br />

can download all the attachments like; ppts,videos, notes, etc.<br />

5. Select the class Assignments shown in the STREAM in the order that they were<br />

assigned.<br />

6. Complete an Assignment There are two ways to complete an assignment in<br />

Classroom: I. To attach anything to the assignment, follow the steps to turn in an<br />

assignment. II. If there are no attachments for the assignment, follow the steps to mark an<br />

assignment done.<br />

7. Students can edit an assignment after turning it in. However, any assignment turned in<br />

or marked as done after the due date is considered late.<br />

8. Turn in an Assignment Go to the class STREAM and click the assignment student<br />

want to turn in. Student can also access the assignments through the Assignments page.<br />

9. Mark an Assignment Done Go to the class STREAM and click the assignment to mark<br />

as done. Students can also access the assignments through the Assignments page. Click<br />

MARK AS DONE.<br />
