BRYDWR’S Little Brown Jug has new owners and new<br />
management.<br />
e iconic local pub has been taken over by experienced<br />
hospitality operators Graham and Fay Wali.<br />
Originally from Otago and well known for their genuine<br />
southern hospitality, the Wali family has been managing bars and<br />
restaurants in the Canterbury region for over 5 years.<br />
Although they only took over the neighbourhood local three<br />
months ago, regulars are already praising improvements to the<br />
business. In particular the food.<br />
“We’re very lucky to have Tracey Cashin on board operating the<br />
bistro,” said Graham.<br />

“I’m very excited to be<br />
working with Graham and Fay,” said Tracey. “We’ve put together<br />
new lunch and dinner menus and already have a couple of items,<br />
such as my Seafood Chowder and our succulent Ribs, that<br />
repeatedly sell out.”<br />
e new menu’s offer a good selection of dishes that are family<br />
friendly and extremely affordable. Lunch choices range Moroccan<br />
Chicken Tacos, and Corn Fritter Stacks through to Lambs Fry<br />
and Bacon, Roast of the Day, and a 200g Rump Steak - all priced<br />
at only $15. Dinner choices include the same exceptional value<br />
$15 200g Rump Steak through to Lamb Shanks (one for $26, two<br />
for $32), Black Doris Plum Chicken ($25), Pasta of the Day ($22),<br />
and Flintstone Steak ($32), to name a few.<br />
“We’re also offering Gold Card Holders a $5 dessert with lunch<br />
orders and have a great kiddies menu too,” said Tracey.<br />
LBJ is open daily from 9am with live SKY sport, 18 machine<br />
gaming room, TAB pod, and live music at weekends. It’s also<br />
