Die Schweizer Alpen rund um den Jungfraugipfel<br />

ALETSCH WORLD HERITAGE SITE<br />
The Swiss Alps around the Jungfrau summit<br />
and the Aletsch Glacier are a designated<br />
UNESCO World Heritage site. There are<br />
several four-thousand-metre peaks in an<br />
area of 820 km² covering unspoilt valleys<br />
and the largest contiguous glaciated area<br />
in the Alps. The World Nature Forum is<br />
dedicated to this awe-inspiring mountain<br />
landscape. This visitor, study and conference<br />
centre is just a five-minute walk<br />
from Brig railway station and boasts an<br />
interactive exhibition to attract visitors.<br />
The highlight is a huge screen displaying<br />
spectacular panoramic shots of Alpine<br />
