THE FRIENDLESS MOTH<br />
A moth with a long and Latin name<br />
One day flew into a flame,<br />
But because its problems were not shared<br />
No one minded much or cared.<br />
There was no one on whom it could depend,<br />
It had no family or best friend.<br />
I buried it one autumn dawn<br />
Beneath a leaf out on the lawn.<br />
I hope to Heaven it will ascend<br />
And up there find a decent friend.
