ODD DUCK OUT<br />
It was really quite unnatural,<br />
But a marvellous bit of luck<br />
When on the banks of the River Thames<br />
I saw a talking duck.<br />
It stopped and said, ‘Good morning,’<br />
And asked me if I knew<br />
Where it could find some chickens<br />
To make some chicken stew.<br />
‘I thought you liked things cold,’ I said,<br />
‘I thought you liked them raw.’<br />
‘I do, I do, I do,’ it said,<br />
And offered me its paw.<br />
‘I thought you had webbed feet,’ I said,<br />
‘And hated chicken stew.’<br />
‘I do, I do, I do,’ it said,<br />
And then away it flew.
