Why it might not be the best
thing to use to chat with
friends?
Well there are a ton of
great things on snapchat
but there are just some
people in the world that
just don't do the right thing
on social media. Why
snapchat might not be the
best thing for social media
is because you can get into
some really big trouble for
doing things. Not to
mention that if you want a
job then the manager can
go back and look at all of
things that you have posted
and everything that you
have done on social media.
My reasoning for this is
because there are some
very bad people on
snapchat that you can
friend and do very bad
things to you. According to
“How kids can use snapchat
safely” it says “The appeal
of Snapchat is its veil of
invisibility. Once a message
or picture is ‘snapped,’ it
instantly evaporates into
cyberspace—supposedly
never to be seen again. The
idealistic illusion that those
messages are gone once
they are sent is a naïve
notion that often gets teens
into major hot water.
While, yes, those snaps
aren’t saved on the sender’s
end, they can be saved and
shared by other users. In
fact, DMR reports that one
million “Snapchat stories
have been shared publicly.”
My explanation for this is
because like I have been
saying of you want a job
then you need to make
good choices online with
social media.
