Useful<br />
information<br />
Building sizes<br />
All sizes are approximate based on external measurements<br />
(excluding ro<strong>of</strong> overhang) therefore please ensure there is plenty<br />
<strong>of</strong> room when choosing the size <strong>of</strong> your building, bearing in mind<br />
space required for installation and maintenance. We advise you<br />
check internal sizes if buying a building for specific purpose.<br />
Planning permission can be required on some buildings<br />
depending on size and location, please check with the planning<br />
department <strong>of</strong> your local council if unsure.<br />
Access to your garden<br />
Please bear in mind that not all building sections will fit through a<br />
standard doorway or go round sharp corners, and larger sections<br />
may be manufactured in more than one piece. Please contact our<br />
Garden Centre team for advice on access requirements.<br />
Foundation<br />
It is essential that your building is assembled on a suitable base<br />
which must be solid, level and square. We recommend installing<br />
a paving slab base or tantalised timber bearers which will help<br />
prolong the life span <strong>of</strong> your floor<br />
Specifications<br />
All buildings are supplied complete with floor (unless otherwise<br />
stated), 20kg ro<strong>of</strong>ing felt (38kg on the Major), glass, trims and<br />
facings.<br />
Guarantee<br />
Buildings are supplied with standard 12 months guarantee<br />
against faulty parts and labour. We recommend you check if<br />
your building is covered by household insurance in case <strong>of</strong> storm<br />
damage etc.<br />
Installation (Additional Cost)<br />
Simply don’t have the time? Not A DIY expert? Why not let our<br />
team erect your shed, leaving you with more time to spare.<br />
The date for installation will be arranged with you by our<br />
installation team once a delivery date for your shed has been<br />
booked with you. We aim to carry out installation within seven<br />
working days after delivery.<br />
All we need you to do is make sure that there is a firm and level<br />
base that is suitable for the weight <strong>of</strong> the shed and that it is ready<br />
for the shed to be assembled. There must be reasonable access<br />
to the property for delivery and clearance round the shed area to<br />
allow the installation team to work.
