FOR MOGI DAS CRUZES CITIZENS
Integrated work between City Hall and security agencies
and constant investment generate results

city was a pioneer outside the Capital. “We know that
Public Security is the State obligation, but we cannot
cross our arms, so we invest everything that is possible
to improve the police action in our city,” says Paulo
Roberto Madureira Sales, the city’s Secretary of Security.

The public security in Mogi das Cruzes is
treated as a priority issue of the city, with an
integrated work in all the agencies that operate in
the sector. The result is that the sense of security of
the population is greater within the context of the
Greater São Paulo, contributing to life quality of
Mogi das Cruzes citizens.
The City Hall goes beyond its constitutional
role, investing annually about R$ 22 million in
supporting public security. This amount covers
investments such as building remodeling, fuel
