“In addition, we are making a concentrated<br />
effort to expand selective waste collection in<br />
the city. Today, 6% of the waste is sent for<br />
recycling, but the goal is to reach 20% by<br />
2020, a percentage of developed cities in<br />
world,” says Green municipal secretary, Daniel<br />
Teixeira de Lima. “Another work front is the<br />
city’s forestation plan. We placed as challenge<br />
to plant 50 thousand trees in the city during<br />
this government. All these actions led <strong>Mogi</strong> to<br />
win two pre-certifications of Green and Blue<br />
Municipality Seal of the State Government”.<br />
