Basic education receives special attention from the City Hall with full time
Another highlight is the quality of school meals,
recognized as the best school meal in the State of
São Paulo, according to NGO Ação Fome Zero
and the Federal Government. The menu of more
than 45 thousand students of the municipal
school network has fresh foods produced in the
city, acquired from Mogi family agriculture
producers.
“Every day there are more than 150 thousand
meals served in our schools. The menu is prepared
by nutritionists with everything of the best quality,
with meat, chicken, rice, beans, pasta, fruits,
vegetables and vegetables. In fact, the products in
natura are bought from rural producers in our
city “, says the municipal secretary of Education,
Juliana Guedes.
School lunch was recognized as one of the best in Brazil.
Students can have books for free.
Mogi das Cruzes education presents important
advances, which turned the municipality into reference
for other Brazilian cities. The Municipality of Mogi
das Cruzes, responsible for Early Childhood Education
and Elementary School, has prioritized investments
in education. Only in the municipal school network
there are 206 school units, of which 68% serve fulltime
students.
Over the last eight years, the city administration has
delivered 65 new kindergartens and schools and six
Cempres - Municipal Centers of Educational Programs,
educational complexes that count on classrooms,
support rooms, multi-sport gymnasium and cultural
auditorium. The Municipality of Mogi das Cruzes will
continue the Works Plan with the construction of new
schools and day care centers.
