Classic Stony<br />
Come and join the excitement between 9.30am<br />
and 4pm on 2 <strong>June</strong> for the 11th 'Classic Stony' car<br />
and motorcycle show.<br />
The show has grown in stature over the years and now<br />
attracts an incredibly varied display of vehicles from<br />
concourse to 'well-used'. It’s run in partnership with<br />
Stony Stratford Business Association, as part of 'Stony<br />
Live week' and is free to spectators. Visitors will enjoy<br />
the informal gathering of classic and vintage cars and<br />
motorcycles as well as the live music on The Market<br />
Square stage. Plans to open additional spectator<br />
parking will ease any congestion.<br />
The event is run in aid of the incredibly worthy Willen<br />
Hospice and there will be plenty of opportunity to<br />
donate. The event's historic success has now drawn<br />
the good people of Stony, restaurateur, shopkeeper<br />
and publican alike to throw open their doors and join<br />
the revelry.<br />
Adding to the sights and sounds, there will be a Battle<br />
of Britain Spitfire display in the afternoon. So come<br />
along, wander through the displays, take in the sights,<br />
have a picnic by the river and enjoy the day.<br />

Anyone for Tennis?<br />
Towcester Tennis Club is an LTA associated tennis<br />
club offering 3 all weather floodlit tennis courts with<br />
excellent all year round playing. The clubhouse bar is<br />
open after matches and on social club nights.<br />
There’s lots to do - social or cardio tennis, go<br />
competitive and join local leagues while juniors can<br />
also join summer camps. Choose from mixed, men’s<br />
and women’s tennis and get coached to improve your<br />
game whatever your age or ability including juniors.<br />
New players of all abilities are wanted to join the<br />
fantastic players already there – a warm welcome is<br />
waiting for you at Towcestrians. At only £3 a week you<br />
can play to improve!<br />
