Milton Keynes Open celebrates local creative talent.<br />
Amateur, student, semi-professional, professional or<br />
established artists should submit original artwork<br />
before 3 <strong>June</strong>. Works should be wall based, created<br />
from paint, print, ink, photography. The public<br />
exhibition will take place on 13-14 July.<br />

15 and 16 <strong>June</strong><br />
A beautiful spectrum of colour and diversity will be<br />
on display at Castlethorpe Village bi-annual Open<br />
Gardens weekend on 15-16 <strong>June</strong>. Visitors travel for<br />
miles to experience the delights on offer!<br />
Tour around about 25 gardens and ask the proud<br />
owners any questions. Plants will also be on sale at<br />
several gardens. Follow the Scarecrow Trail, stop for<br />
refreshments and a chat with the friendly villagers at<br />
the Village Hall or the Church.<br />
Buy tickets on the day from the car park adjacent<br />
to Castle Field, the Village Hall and Open Gardens.<br />
Adults £5, children £2 and family ticket £12, covering<br />
both days. Proceeds go to village projects, including<br />
the Community First Responders.<br />

Stony Open Gardens<br />
Stony Open Gardens takes place this year on Saturday 22nd and<br />
Sunday 23rd <strong>June</strong>. Tickets are £5 per person valid for the whole<br />
weekend. Over 30 gardens will be on show including a variety of<br />
large and small gardens, courtyards, community spaces as well<br />
as two allotment groups and an award-winning wildlife garden.<br />
Musicians, dancers, actors, storytellers and The Bard will be<br />
performing in over 20 of the gardens and at York House, where<br />
there will be art and craft items on display and for sale, created<br />
by members of the Made in Stony association. Milton Keynes<br />
Society of Artists are exhibiting in Swinfen Harris Hall. Elsewhere<br />
ceramics are displayed as part of Bucks Open Studios. Teas and<br />
refreshments will be available at York House, at Church Street, and<br />
at Wolverton Road Allotments. There are eight free car parks.<br />
