These global artists call Aveda home and teach special workshops, deliver guest lectures and take time out

KATHY MEDEIROS
Lead Hair Colour Educator Aveda Academy Salon
Kathy has worked with the Aveda Academy Salon in Toronto since
2005. Since being with Aveda, Kathy has had the opportunity
to work with a number of international Aveda Educators and a
member of Aveda Team Canada who has presented at various shows
across North America. Kathy is currently the Salon Manager and Lead
Colour Educator of the Toronto Aveda Academy Salon. Her passion
for education is an integral part of her success with Aveda. While
maintaining her clientele, Kathy also loves to inspire new talent.

DYLAN SIT
Creative Director, Civello Salon & Spas
Dylan began her hairdressing career in 1998 as an apprentice to
Ray Civello at the Civello Salon & Spa where she honed her technical
skill and creative edge. Dylan is currently the Creative Director for
Civello Salon & Spas and a member of the Aveda Purefessional
team. Working along with some of the most talented hairstylists and
designers her accomplishments boast: stylist at New York Fashion
Week, AVEDA Congress, Plugged In and Master Jam events across
North America. Her passions are earning, sharing knowledge and
inspiring others around her.

TRISTIN MORRISON
Senior Creative Director, Aveda Salon & School Group
As the Senior Creative Director for the Aveda Academies, Tristin is
passionate about education and sees his primary role as one of
developing excellence in education and helping to attract new talent
to the industry. Tristin joined Aveda in 2001 and was an integral
part of opening the first Aveda Academy Salon in Canada. Tristin has
presented at many Aveda shows including Aveda Congress 2005,
Milan Master Jam 2007 and London Master Jam 2011. He has taken
part in four Aveda collections and travels the world as an educator.

MARTA MURRAY
Creative Director, Western Canada, Aveda
Marta has worked with many Aveda Purefessionals and Global
Masters at various Aveda shows and at the Aveda Advanced
Academies. In addition to working closely with the Canadian Aveda
Academy Team to teach creative hair cutting classes throughout
North America, Marta has taken a special interest in inspiring and
supporting local artists and designers as the lead hairstylist for
Vancouver Eco Fashion Week.

KRISTJAN HAYDEN
Creative Director, Editorial Stylist & Makeup Artist,
Aveda Canada
While his full schedule at Civello Salon & Spa in Toronto keeps him
extremely busy, Kristjan also tours with Aveda as a platform artist
for shows and as an educator. Kristjan has worked with a extensive
roster of celebrity guests ranging from Hollywood it-girls like Olivia
Wilde (House) and Whitney Port (The City) to musicians like Emily
Haines (Metric). Media appearances have included E-Talk, MTV,
MuchMusic, Star! and Entertainment Tonight. Kristjan can regularly
be found fore-casting the latest hair and makeup trends on CBC’s
Steven and Chris.
MORGAN ROY
Creative Director, Aveda Institute Toronto
Morgan joined the Aveda Network in 2005 as a stylist at Civello Salon
Institute in Toronto. Morgan works closely with the Canadian Artistic
team on various Aveda shows and Advanced Academy classes and
hopes to continue inspiring Aveda’s future professionals. Morgan
joins the Aveda US team to work the shows at New York Fashion Week
creating looks for such designers as Rodarte, Yigal Azrouel, Jason
Wu, Christian Siriano, John Patrick Organic and Sophie Theallet.
