The <strong>Aveda</strong> Academy Salon is an advanced level<br />
program for hairstylists who have completed a<br />
hairstyling diploma and wish to accelerate their<br />
careers. Through innovative and inspiring education,<br />
hands-on experience and a high-energy salon<br />
environment, this program is designed to have you<br />
working <strong>as</strong> a stylist upon graduation.<br />
Graduate in:<br />
Level: Intermediate/Advanced<br />
Pre-requisite: Hairstyling Diploma, license<br />
or registered apprenticeship<br />
Certification Awarded: Hair Cut Specialist, Hair Colour<br />
Specialist or Dual Specialist Certificate.<br />

Salon location with a Lead Educator<br />
Required Tools:<br />
Items can be purch<strong>as</strong>ed through the <strong>Aveda</strong> Academy once<br />
you are enrolled. Tools must be approved by the<br />

CURRICULUM<br />
OVERVIEW<br />
The <strong>Aveda</strong> Academy Salon Program is designed to<br />
develop and expand student’s skills in every <strong>as</strong>pect<br />
<strong>of</strong> their career <strong>as</strong> a successful hairstylist and/or<br />
colour technician. Consistent coaching, morning<br />
meetings and monthly one-on-one reviews are<br />
designed to develop pr<strong>of</strong>essionalism, inspire team<br />
participation and encourage a desired career path.<br />
<strong>Aveda</strong> Points <strong>of</strong> Difference will be the major influence<br />
at all 3 levels <strong>of</strong> training.<br />
