Winner of the <strong>AOH</strong> Best Artist Award in 2018, Cecil looks forward<br />
to welcoming you to his Edwardian home at Seven Dials, near<br />
Brighton station. Cecil is one of Brighton’s most celebrated artists<br />
and in his 20th Open House exhibition presents a special collection<br />
of his latest watercolours and oils that reflect the sublime beauty<br />
of sunlight and water.<br />
First up is the city of Venice with glittering waterways and silent,<br />
hidden canals. Then come new watercolours of Brighton seascapes<br />
that capture the golden light of late afternoons, transformed into<br />
translucent orange and red. Finally, a collection of Cecil’s favourite<br />
painting spots, Giverny, the Sussex Downs and Florence.<br />
Visitors may also browse through a collection of fine art and<br />
silkscreen prints and cards.<br />
