Last summer, Yana and her<br />
mother traveled to France<br />
and today She will tell about<br />
this trip.
NMK. Yana, how did you manage to get<br />
to France?<br />
Y. In April 2017 I was in Italy, I really liked it<br />
there. A new dream has appeared - to visit<br />
other countries. One of them was France.<br />
That's how I ended up in Paris.<br />
NMK. How did you prepare for the trip?<br />
Y. My mother and I carefully prepared for<br />
the trip: we thought through the itinerary<br />
to the smallest detail, painted it every<br />
hour, because in France there were a<br />
lot of attractions and we wanted to be<br />
everywhere.<br />

NMK. In Paris, you drew attention to what?<br />
Y. In Paris, a lot of small narrow streets, and<br />
most importantly - a lot of flowers. The walls<br />
of many houses are completely covered<br />
with flowers, they even grow on the roofs!<br />
NMK. What other cities visited with mom?<br />
Y. For example, Provence, Avignon ...<br />
NMK. Interesting moments, adventures<br />
were?<br />
Y. I remember Disneyland - this is such an<br />
amusement park, specially for children. It is<br />
very beautiful there!<br />
We hit just during the World Cup - 2018<br />
Football. There were so many fans who<br />
walked the streets, shouting. When we won<br />
the match, the whole city just “exploded”<br />
from joyful emotions!<br />

NMK. Yana, what did you like most about<br />
Disneyland?<br />
Y. I liked the fact that everything is arranged<br />
for children there, a lot of different cartoon<br />
characters. Particularly memorable was<br />
the fairytale castle, which is shown at the<br />
beginning of all Walt Disney films.<br />
NMK. Yana, are you glad you went to<br />
France?<br />
Y. Of course, glad! Because such impressions<br />
are never forgotten.<br />
NMK. Where else do you dream to visit?<br />
Y. ЯI dream to visit all of Russia, because we<br />
have a big country and there are many sights<br />
in it. I also want to visit different countries.<br />
For example, I would be interested to go to<br />
Sweden.<br />

Y. I study in 21 schools in the 5th grade. I am<br />
fond of cheerleading, chess, I also study<br />
English and study at the Children's Model<br />
Studio of the Model Agency “Images of<br />
Russia”.<br />

Barbizon USA<br />
History<br />
The first Barbizon School of Modeling and Acting<br />
was opened in 1939 on Fifth Avenue in New<br />
York City, New York, by Helen Fraser, a fashion<br />
model and teacher with her husband, Dr. Fraser,<br />
a dentist. The Barbizon name was developed<br />
from the Fraser's vacations to France where they<br />
became interested in the town of Barbizon, a<br />
village outside of Paris known for the 19th-century<br />
Barbizon school of painters. She wrote a book<br />
Assignment in Modeling: A Guide to a Career in<br />
Fashion and Photographic Modeling".<br />
In 1950, Helen met Ronald Reagan, who would<br />
later become President of the United States,<br />
and awarded him with the Best-Dressed Man in<br />
America award she established. In 1951, Helen<br />
acted as a celebrity judge for the Miss Brooklyn<br />
Pageant, alongside actress Denise Darcel and<br />
comedian Steve Allen.<br />
Barbizon Curriculum<br />
The Barbizon curriculum prepares students for<br />
modeling and acting careers with courses focused<br />
in self-confidence, poise, style and industry<br />
education and techniques.<br />

Modeling<br />
Barbizon’s modeling curriculum follows the<br />
techniques used by professional models. Classes<br />
center around voice projection, self-confidence,<br />
print and runway modeling. The curriculum varies<br />
dependent upon the class category. Barbizon<br />
offers classes for female modeling, male modeling,<br />
pre-teen (kids) modeling, full-figure modeling,<br />
and advanced professional modeling.<br />
Acting<br />
Barbizon’s acting curriculum focuses on film and<br />
television acting through classes that educate<br />
students in areas of comedy, monologues, drama,<br />
how to go on an audition and script reading. Stage<br />
presence and personality are also incorporated<br />
heavily into the curriculum.<br />
College scholarship<br />
In 1992, Barbizon began a college scholarship<br />
program, paying up to $100,000 of tuition[8] for the<br />
scholarship recipients to any college or university<br />
in the United States.<br />
Locations<br />
Barbizon Modeling and Acting Centers are located<br />
in more than 200 markets across the United States.<br />
International locations include Bangkok, Toronto,<br />
Santo Domingo and Japan.<br />

Danielle is a Barbizon grad<br />
from Ocala, FL. She started<br />
her modeling career after<br />
graduating Barbizon at 14 years<br />
old. With a career that took<br />
off quickly, Danielle has spent<br />
much of her time modeling in<br />
the Asia markets and Miami.<br />
Danielle has appeared on the<br />
cover of Avenue L <strong>Magazine</strong><br />
and Elle Girl <strong>Magazine</strong>, and in<br />
an Aldo Shoe campaign, all<br />
