Did you know that scientific research and
experimental development (SR&ED) tax credits
are considered an entitlement by the Government
of Canada? As long as you’re able to prove the work you’ve
done in the vineyard or winery qualifies as SR&ED, you’re
entitled to tax credits or refunds.
Although the burden of proof lies with you, if your
corporate records are in order and the SR&ED-related
activities surrounding innovation have been recorded as
they happened, Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is ready to
reward you for your hard work.

Innovation implies failure. That’s fine, at least in terms
