‣ Delivery of iconic projects – <strong>Emaar</strong>’s homegrown dedicated Pre-opening<br />
<strong>Procurement</strong> team has completed over 13 projects over the last 2 years,<br />
managing complete FF&E, OS&E and IT budgets up to a value of AED 500m with<br />
continuous flow of additional projects being added into the pipeline.<br />
‣ Operational Alignment – By creating and maintaining a benchmark profile for all<br />
goods and services procured e.g. Rove and the Address Hotel brand names.<br />
‣ Cost savings - Achieving maximum cost savings by tendering high value packages<br />
and value engineering by providing alternatives products fit for purpose and<br />
achieve best value for money.<br />
‣ Centralizing procurement process - To manage all the procurement activities,<br />
providing transparency, improving efficiency and productivity of the deliverables.<br />
Pre-opening procurement won the Prestigious award for Best Cross-functional<br />
Team award for Rove Hotels at the Chartered Institute of <strong>Procurement</strong> &<br />
Supply (CIPS), Middle East Supply Management Awards 2017<br />
ceremony in Abu Dhabi.<br />

• Client provides all scope, specifications and bill of quantities in<br />
accordance with the timelines agreed in the accepted programme<br />
submitted upon appointment of pre-opening services consultant;<br />
• Client will select final supplier for issuance of Purchase Orders and make<br />
Advanced Payments through their financial systems directly upon<br />
receipt of final cost comparisons and recommendations;<br />
• Client will pay transport, logistics and all duty costs to suppliers;<br />
• Client will pay for any factory inspection costs to include travel and<br />
subsistence upon agreement where required by the Client;<br />
• Client will mobilize for installation and placement of all FF&E and OS&E<br />
items directly with their main contractor, unless agreed otherwise by<br />
alternative arrangements;<br />
• The above fee schedules are valid for 90 days in accordance with the<br />
<strong>Emaar</strong>’s Supply Of Services Agreement.<br />
