During this voyage, we visit some of the<br />
most beautiful parts of <strong>Greenland</strong>, the ice<br />
sheet, settlements, and get up close with<br />
icebergs and the midnight sun.<br />
Join us for an unforgettable adventure to <strong>Greenland</strong>, where<br />
we commence the journey by getting close to the local<br />
ice wall of Kangerlussuaq to get an understanding of the<br />
mighty ice sheet that covers 80 per cent of the country.<br />
In Ilulissat, we will visit the two nearby settlements just<br />
South and North of the World Capital of Icebergs. We will<br />
get adventurous in our kayaks with a soft outing in the<br />
protected Oqaatsut bay, followed by a kayak finale among<br />
huge icebergs in the magic of the midnight sun the next<br />
day. In the small settlement of Ilimanaq we are invited to<br />
enjoy a meal in a private <strong>Greenland</strong>ic home to sample local<br />
specialties. We stay at our comfortable hotel in Ilulissat for<br />
three nights.<br />

Russell Glacier excursion w. BBQ.<br />
Kangerlussuaq: Town tour and museum<br />
visit. Departure to Ilulissat and hike to<br />
Sermermiut plain by the Ice Fjord.<br />
Ilulissat: Daytour to Oqaatsut by boat<br />
– short kayak outing before or around<br />
noon in Oqaatsut.<br />
Ilimanaq by boat, private family visit and<br />
evening kayak outing in the midnight sun<br />
to the World Heritage Ice Fjord (Ilulissat).<br />
