“One thing I do f#king know is I was born just a
hillbilly kid in the hills of Tennessee and got an
opportunity to move to the beach at an early age
and decided from there my life path. Surfing and
making surfboards.”
Gregg Weber from Rooster Brand surfboards has
certainly got some stories to tell, raised in the hills
of Tennessee before moving to the East Coast
where he surfed against CJ and Damien Hobgood
on the NSSA, partied with Jay Adams in Hawaii,
became the team glasser at Lost Surfboards for
over 10 years and learned to screen print from
Dogtown legend Skip Engblom. This is Rooster,
a colourful character who has absorbed it all to
become a talented, passionate and well respected
craftsman with a no bullshit attitude.
