Spring Training Scottsdale, Arizona 2019 Arizona Cactus League Baseball Golf, Dining and More! by “JB” Griffin Every Spring I look forward to making the 6 hour drive from Orange County to take in a few days in and around the Phoenix area for meeting up with friends taking in a Spring Training Baseball game, Golf Outings and Dining. If you have never been to a Spring Training Baseball game it is something to put on your bucket list. Spring training is something the entire family will enjoy. After the games I love to visit Old Scottsdale and see all the baseball fans who make the trip to Arizona from around the USA and beyond. It’s great to see the visitors to Arizona sporting their favorite teams baseball cap and jerseys while enjoyng all that Old Town Scottsdale has to offer which includes outdoor patio bars, restaurants, gift shops and the San Francisco Giants Stadium . When in Scottsdale be sure to explore the town of Cave Creek, Az and of course visit Harold’s the Famous Bar in Cave Creek which I highly recommend. If your a golfer like me be sure to bring your sticks on your trip to Zona. Lots of challenging beautiful courses in and around Scottsdale including the TPC course, home of the Waste Management Phoenix Open one of the most popular events on the PGA Tour.
