The Role?


Business Development Consultant<br />

You will be on the front line, generating quality appointments for your<br />

clients. It is your job to learn and understand your client’s portfolio<br />

to then position it to prospective companies creating sales pipeline.

Pay<br />

At <strong>EngageTech</strong> we are very transparent about what our team can earn.<br />

You can earn commission from day one, this is paid monthly and you don’t have to hit your target<br />

to unlock this.<br />

Basic: £20,000 - £23,000<br />

Average first year earnings: £35,000 - £38,000


The Academy


Sales Training<br />

As a company built on hiring graduates and people with 1-2 years sales experience we have a<br />

training program in place to not only turn you into expert BDCs but to shape you into a seasoned<br />

sales professional.<br />

We train the staff of some of the biggest tech companies in the UK so it is safe to say that our<br />

training is some of the best around.


Your First 3 Months<br />

Over the course of 3 months you will be delivered expert training by our team. This will consist<br />

of everything you need to become an effective BDC and succeed in your role. We will give you an<br />

overview of the tech industry, bring you up to date with new technologies as well as teaching you<br />

how to position these effectively to C-Level decision makers in any industry.


Further Development<br />

Richard Branson once said ‘Train people well enough so that they can leave, treat them well<br />

enough so they don’t’. This is something we believe in at <strong>EngageTech</strong> so our training doesn’t<br />

stop after 3 months. We only promote internally so ultimately we see you progressing up through<br />

the company and give you the skills to do so.<br />
