HEUCHERELLA hybrid
FUN AND GAMES ®
FUN AND GAMES ® Hopscotch Heucherella
This shade-loving foliage plant has beautiful, red, emerging
foliage that lightens to bronze-red. More orange color than ‘Red
Rover’. Lobed leaves have a lacy texture. A Heuchera villosa
hybrid, meaning it is more tolerant of hot and humid Summers.
Cream flowers appear in late Spring on 16-20" scapes.
FUN AND GAMES ® Red Rover Heucherella
Coppery-red emerging leaves have finger-like, lobed leaves
that give it a unique look in the garden. More intense red
than Hopscotch. A Heuchera villosa hybrid, meaning it is more
tolerant of hot and humid Summers. Cream flowers appear in
late Spring on 28-34" scapes.
FUN AND GAMES ® Eye Spy Heucherella
Eye Spy has incredible foliage as well as spectacular flowering
performance. In Spring, large, dissected leaves emerge amberyellow
with deep rose centers that vein up toward the edges of
the leaves and bubblegum-pink flowers appear that will bloom
for many weeks. As temperatures increase, the leaves mellow
to bright chartreuse-green with a silver overlay, forming a low
mound of foliage that is evergreen in most climates.
GROWING TIPS
» For best foliage coloration, avoid scorching light.
» Heucherellas are typically grown more for their attractive foliage
than for their flowers. Flowers are not necessary for sales.
» Needs 100 – 150 ppm N constant liquid feed fertilizer and light shade
for optimal growth.
» Botrytis can be a problem under cold, wet, low light conditions.
