For starters, try our Proven Harvest ‘Garden Gem’ and ‘Garden
Treasure’. These two new Tomato varieties were specifically bred to do
more than just perform but rather outperform – with greater disease
resistance, better yields than other varieties, and taste you’d only expect
from heirloom Tomatoes.
Proven Harvest is also introducing an amazing Basil variety called, AMAZEL
Basil, the first Downy Mildew-resistant sweet Basil available in North America.
In addition to its Downy Mildew resistance, AMAZEL Basil has other excellent
characteristics, like larger tender leaves, dark green color, late flowering,
little seed production, and increased cold tolerance, not to mention an everappealing
aroma iconic in sweet Basil recipes everywhere.
Topping off the new Proven Harvest offerings is a new variety of delicious
Strawberry plants called, BERRIED TREASURE. These wonderful plants are
both highly ornamental and produce tasty fruit on ever-bearing plants. The
semi-double pink and red flowers are gorgeous in their own right. And, while
planting Berried Treasure Strawberries in containers is the best way to show
off the fruit, the plants can also be grown in ground.
