Quand y aller? / When to go?
Isalo est sous climat tropical sec. La visite est
possible toute l’année. Entre décembre et mars,
vous pourrez observer les centaines de canards
sauvages près du Lac d’Andranovorokaolo.
Apportez suffisamment d’eau pour la visite du
Parc d’Isalo et couvrez-vous vous de chapeau.
Isalo has a tropical dry climate and can be visited
all year round. Between December and March,
you can observe hundreds of wild ducks around
the lake of Andranovorokaolo. Bring enough
water for your visit to the Isalo Park and make
sure you wear a hat.

Prenez la route qui mène vers Toliara (RN7).
Après 15 heures de trajet, vous arriverez à
destination. Isalo est à 700 km de la capitale.
Vous pouvez joindre Toliara depuis Fort-Dauphin
ou Antananarivo par un vol Compagnie Air
Madagascar/ Tsaradia puis continuer en voiture
vers Ranohira.
Isalo is situated 700km from the capital ; a 15
hour drive along the RN7 highway towards
Toliara. You can also fly to Toliara from Fort-
Dauphin or Antananarivo with the airline Air
Madagascar / Tsaradia, and from there, drive to
Ranohira.

Le Parc dispose d’un bivouac pouvant accueillir
les visiteurs. Si vous choisissez de dormir en
ville, vous pouvez réservez vos chambres au
« Jardin du Roy », au « Isalo Ranch », au « Relais
de la Reine », ou encore au « Isalo Rock Lodge ».
Ces établissements vous feront vivre un séjour
inoubliable.
The park has a campsite for visitors. If you decide
to stay in town, you can book rooms at the Jardin
du Roy, the Isalo Ranch, the Relais de la Reine or
the Isalo Rock Lodge. All these hotels offer top
quality accommodation for an unforgettable stay.
Où manger? / Where to eat?
Essayez les tables du restaurant « Le Zébu
grillé » qui est bien coté. « Liberta », avec ses
spécialités italiennes, se situe à quelques
kilomètres du Parc.
Try the restaurant Le Zebu grillé, which enjoys
a very good reputation. Liberta, with its Italian
specialities is a few kilometres from the national
park.
Que voir? / What to see?
A part les richesses naturelles du Parc, admirez
les paysages d’un genre « western » du site.
Visitez le jardin botanique d’Ambatosola ainsi
que le Musée d’Isalo. Les activités alternent
écotourisme, randonnées, trekking, ou encore
balade en VTT.
Apart from the natural wealth of the park, you
can admire scenery worthy of a Western. Visit
the botanical gardens of Ambatosola, as well as
the Isalo Museum. Possible activities include
ecotourism, hiking, trekking or mountain biking.
