Quand y aller? / When to go?
Un climat subéquatorial caractérisé la ville d’Andapa
et toute la Région SAVA. La visite du site Beradaka
se fait presque toute l’année. Seuls les passionnés
de herpétofaune (spécialistes des amphibiens) vont
préférer s’y rendre en période de pluies. La visite
nocturne est idéale pour observer les grenouilles.

The town of Andapa, as well as the whole of the
Sava region, is characterised by a sub-equatorial
climate. The site of Beradaka can be visited all
the year round. Only those passionate about
herpetology (study of amphibians) will prefer
to visit during the rainy season. To observe the
frogs, a nocturnal visit is ideal, beginning at 4pm.

Prenez un vol de la Compagnie Air Madagascar /
Tsaradia pour rejoindre Sambava ou bien
aventurez vous par la route, soit quelques 1450km
: Antananarivo-Ambondromamy (RN4), Ambilobe
(RN6) puis Vohémar (RN5A) et Sambava. Il vous
restera ensuite 120km pour arriver à destination.
Take an Air Madagascar/Tsaradia flight to
Sambava or, for the more adventurous, you can
get there by car: a 1450km drive : Antananarivo-
Ambondromamy (RN4), Ambilobe (RN6) then
Vohémar (RN5A) and Sambava. Beradaka is
120km further along.

Si vous choisissez de passer la nuit dans la ville
d’Andapa, réservez à l’hôtel Vatosoa, à l’hôtel
Riziky ou à l’hôtel Beanana. L’hôtel Carrefour,
situé sur la route de Sambava, est aussi très
chaleureux.
If you decide to spend the night in the town of
Andapa, book at the Vatosoa hotel, at the Riziky or
the Beanana. the Hotel Carrefour, along the road to
Sambava, will also give you a warm welcome.

L’endroit est idéal pour un pique-nique, mais il
faut l’avoir préparé avant. Si ce n’est pas le cas,
essayez le restaurant de l’hôtel Carrefour ou le
restaurant Maroantsetra aux spécialités nationales
et internationales.
The spot is ideal for picnics, but you need to
prepare in advance. If this is not the case,
the Carrefour Hotel has a restaurant, and the
Maroantsetra offers national and international
specialities.

Après un trajet en route secondaire d’environ 9km
du centre-ville d’Andapa, découvrez le barrage
d’Ampotsilahy, barrage d’irrigation arrosant
8 000ha de rizière. Une virée dans la Réserve
Spéciale d’Anjanaharibe, située à 40km d’Andapa
est aussi à prévoir.
After taking a minor road about 9km from the
centre of Andapa, you will reach the dam of
Ampotsilahy, irrigating 8,000 hectares of rice fields.
The special nature reserve of Anjanaharibe, 40km
from Andapa, is also worth a visit.
