bewegen.
We are aware that everything we do as
a company has an impact on the environment
and climate. That‘s why we‘re
committed to making our products and
processes more sustainable.
Processes at a glance
We pay attention to the careful use of
resources, and we avoid unnecessary
material production, waste and transport
routes. We recycle materials, for example,
when we sew bags from customer
materials. And in digital printing we use
low-solvent inks. Since 2018 we have also
been certified in accordance with the environmental
quality management system
DIN ISO 14001. And as a member of the
Ecoprofit network and B.A.U.M. e.V., we
are continuously committed to sustainable
business practices.
100% CO2-neutral
Since 2017, HALFAR® in Bielefeld has
been completely CO2-neutral. We cover
a large part of our energy needs with a
state-of-the-art pellet heating system and
our own photovoltaic system. If we need
more electricity, we only buy certified
green electricity. That‘s how we fully
manage without the use of fossil fuels.
And as part of our parcel shipment, we
compensate for the produced CO2.
Wir sind uns bewusst: Alles, was wir als
Unternehmen tun, hat einen Einfluss auf
Umwelt und Klima. Darum setzen wir uns
dafür ein, unsere Produkte und Prozesse
immer nachhaltiger zu gestalten.
Prozesse im Blick
Wir achten auf einen sinnvollen Umgang
mit Ressourcen, vermeiden unnötige Materialproduktion,
Abfälle und Transportwege.
Wir recyceln Materialien, etwa, wenn wir
Taschen aus Kundenmaterialien nähen.
Und in der Digitaldruckerei setzen wir
lösungsmittelarme Tinten ein. Seit 2018
sind wir außerdem nach dem Umweltqualitätsmanagement-System
DIN ISO
14001 zertifiziert. Und als Mitglied im
Ökoprofit-Netz und im B.A.U.M. e.V. setzen
wir uns kontinuierlich für nachhaltiges
Wirtschaften ein.
100 % CO2-neutral
Seit 2017 arbeitet HALFAR® in Bielefeld
komplett CO2-neutral. So decken wir einen
großen Teil unseres Energiebedarfs mit
einer hochmodernen Pelletheizung und
unserer eigenen Photovoltaik-Anlage. Falls
wir mehr Strom benötigen, kaufen wir
ausschließlich zertifizierten Ökostrom hinzu.
So kommen wir ganz ohne die Nutzung
fossiler Brennstoffe aus. Und im Rahmen
unseres Paketversandes kompensieren
wir das entstandene CO2.

By successfully being awarded the DIN ISO certification
14001:2015, HALFAR® continues to systematically
build up its environmental management
system. This is how we promote environmental
protection in interaction with social and economic
aspects.

14001:2015 baut HALFAR® das Umweltmanagementsystem
konsequent weiter auf. So fördern wir
den Umweltschutz im Zusammenspiel mit sozialen
und wirtschaftlichen Aspekten.
