What is the most
important thing
you learned from
your internship/
international
exchange?
During my internship at Jones Packaging,
I have learned to stay focused and organized
while working on several projects at a time.
I was able to adapt to industry-standard
software and processes which helped me
understand the workflow of the company. I have
learned to understand the packaging industry
as well as print and design concepts that impact
the functionality of a package. This helped me
recognize errors and adjust mistakes according
to the client’s needs.
PUBLISHING
How do you plan to
make your mark in
the print industry?
I am going to make an impact in the print
industry with my technical, creative and
detail-oriented skills. The printing industry is
evolving and becoming more technology-based,
which, due to my skill set in digital printing,
E-book publishing and the ability to adapt to
industry-standard software, I will be able to help
transform the way we act with products and
packaging. At GCM we learn how to work with
different printing processes and workflows which
helps us familiarize ourselves with various print
and digital operations in the industry.
