after graduation?

A rite of passage in high school is to enrol
into the typing course. However, I was not
keen about tapping away at the typewriter.
Thankfully, a new course was being offered
called Communication Technology. I quickly
signed up. This course about design programs
and media arts would become my gateway to
the print industry. I did not darken my guidance
counselor’s doorway, to take career path surveys
and ponder about where I wanted to go in life,
I already knew from tinkering on the design
programs in the Communication Technology
labs that I wanted to be involved in the world
of graphic arts.
After that last exam I would like to take a
short pause and allow my mind and body to
rejuvenate. I also want to continue learning.
One of my goals is to be an Adobe Certified
Expert (ACE) for InDesign and Illustrator.
Another goal I am considering is a Masters
program that incorporates the distilling of big
data into visual display. As for a career path,
I have always has a passion for taking content
and arranging it into a pleasing layout to
engage an audience. I am open-minded to any
position within the print industry that allows
me to do this daily.
