CONCENTRATIONS
In their third year, students are able to take core electives to customize their
degree and graduate with a unique skill set. These core electives allow students
to pursue their interests through optional concentrations in Digital Graphic
Output, Packaging, Publishing, or Leadership. Each concentration requires six
courses chosen from a larger list and consist of both hands-on labs and informative
lectures. This year’s graduating class will be the first to enter the industry with a
concentration in an area of the printing industries.
Adding to the theme of the Grad Book, each student’s spread will have an assigned
colour based on their chosen concentration. The applicable concentrations and
minors will also be listed on the sidebar on the right-hand side.
Purple – Digital Graphic Output: focus on digital print applications
Green – Packaging: focus on consumer packaging solutions
Yellow – Publishing: focus on the publishing industry production
Blue – Leadership: focus on print-related business management
Red – No Concentration: focus on core electives
