What is the most
important thing
you learned from
your internship/
international
exchange?
During my internship as a graphic designer,
it was my goal to absorb as much information
and knowledge as possible. Going into my
internship I knew that I wanted to keep an
open mind and learn new skill sets. As an
intern I learned numerous and valuable new
skills, such as professional communication and
teamwork. One of the most important things
that I learned during my internship was the
value of knowing my own self-worth. I acquired
a lot of new skills and knowledge about the
industry and more importantly, I found inner
confidence in my work and myself.

What are
your greatest
achievements/
accomplishments
at GCM?
One of my greatest achievements during my
studies at GCM is my determination. I attended
another university for a year and after that
year I took a small hiatus to try to figure out
what I really wanted to pursue. Going back to
school after a break is extremely difficult. I knew
however that it was important and I wanted
to pursue an industry that still allowed me to
maintain some creative freedom, but provided
knowledge about marketing, business, and the
printing industries. My determination in coming
this far and being on the Dean’s List has been
my greatest achievement while at GCM.
