Describe the moment
you realized “what
you wanted to do
when you grew up.”
What motivated you?
Upon graduation, I am looking forward to
pursuing a career in design, marketing, and
art direction. Growing up, I had always done
visual arts and enjoyed it. In high school, I took
visual arts, design, and photography classes.
As a result, I learned that thinking creatively
was what I would love to pursue as a career.
Then I entered into GCM and took marketing
classes and discovered my strong interest in
marketing. With both my passions in creativity
and marketing, I realized that design and art
direction is the area for me.
MARKETING
What is your plan
after graduation?
I would like to begin my career in the creative
area within a junior creative role where I can use
the skills I have gained from GCM such as skills
in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop,
as well as interpersonal, communication,
and teamwork skills. I also hope to apply the
knowledge I have learned in my marketing
minor as well as grow in project management,
leadership, and decision-making skills. I hope to
have the opportunity to work with clients and
brands and gain the skills that will prepare me
to work in art direction.
