Explain how you
have changed
since your first
year at Ryerson.
How do you plan to
make your mark in
the print industry?
If I could change one thing about myself, it would
be that I would learn to speak French. Firstly, I
think it would be amazing to be bilingual, and
secondly because being bilingual is such a huge
asset to have in the Canadian job market, and
it is something that I would love to be able to
put on a resume or job application as it would
help differentiate me from other applicants. As
well as allow me to develop stronger bonds that
allow for more work to be done and stronger
connections to be made.
At the beginning of my first year, I was unaware
of the challenges and the learning opportunities
that were ahead. Throughout the years leading
to my final year, I was able to grow through
the lessons taught by professors to further a
potentially long-lasting job as an adult. Also
through the years I have grown, and getting
older with my friends that I have made at GCM I
have cultivated relationships and created bonds,
that along with my studies have made me the
hardworking, reliable person that I am today.
