What is the most
important thing
you learned from
your internship/
international
exchange?
Out of all the learning experiences I have
encountered during my internship, the most
important aspect I have acknowledged is that
communication is key. Many failures to complete
a task and errors in the workplace stem from
the lack of communication. Effective
communication leads to better client
relationships, increased productivity, and less
conflict. Whether communicating with other
departments, clients, or warehouse employees,
it prevents any confusion and allows for a better
managed workflow.
LEADERSHIP
What is your plan Throughout my four years of studying the
after graduation? processes of the Graphic Communications
industry, I have retained knowledge as well
as advice I can utilize towards my career
after graduation. During my time at Ryerson
University, I was constantly motivated to
work towards my goal which is to apply my
skills and expertise into a position in graphic
communications. I was always interested in the
actual print production and operations of the
D
workflow, and that resulted in a desire to achieve
employment specifically within production,
operations management, or in quality control.
