What is the most
important thing
you learned from
your internship/
international
exchange?
I had the pleasure of interning at Ritual, a
Toronto-based food ordering app. The most
important thing that I have learned during my
time there was the importance of teamwork. I
had the honour of working in both the Partner
Support and Customer Support teams where
I was able to work alongside amazing and
talented individuals who showed me the impact
each person makes on a team. Everybody has
their own skill set and success necessitates
collaboration.

If you could change
one thing about
yourself, what would
it be and why?

If I could change one thing about myself, It
would definitely my self-confidence. I realized
that I have a tendency of doubting myself in fear
of making a mistake. During my past 4 years
at Ryerson, I’ve definitely taken more risks and
trusted my own instincts. I learned that making
mistakes is an important part of learning and
improving myself. When I see myself improve
on something that I was struggling with, it
motivates me to jump through obstacles and be a
better version of myself.
