at GCM?
At my internship working at a custom apparel
printing company, I learned various important
life skills that allowed me to quickly adapt to
the constantly changing environment. My role
as a production assistant challenged me to wear
multiple hats and understand the importance
of effective communication with my co-workers
which was key to maintaining an efficient
and organized workflow in such a fast-paced
environment.
Enrolling in an improv course for my open
elective was one of my proudest and greatest
achievements to date while at GCM. I challenged
myself out my comfort zone and did something
that absolutely petrified me. Improv was a
terrifying thought at first but I’m glad I took
it because it taught me to quickly adapt to
the changing environment and be open and
accepting to making mistakes because how
else was I going to learn from them? I strongly
believe that life begins at the end of your comfort
zone and that’s when you truly grow as a person.
