What is the most
important thing
you learned from
your internship/
international
exchange?
The most important thing that I have learned
from my internship is how printed labels are
effectively managed within a large printing
company. Throughout my internship, I
served a role at Ingenious Packaging Group
as a packaging engineer assistant, in which
I engineered sizes for new shrink sleeve
projects. In addition, I also created die-lines in
Adobe Illustrator, and shrink sleeve samples
for customer evaluation. Thus, over time, I
developed an exceptional working knowledge of
how shrink sleeve labels are managed prior to
distribution in numerous retailers.
PACKAGING
What is your plan
after graduation?
AC
After graduation, I intend to start working in
the industry. I am really interested in packaging
and would like to pursue a career in a company
that manufactures packaging including shrink
sleeves, labels and others. There are lots of
opportunities and positions out there. I am
particularly interested in becoming a packaging
technician or working in prepress. In the long
term, I would like to gain enough experience in
these positions so I can lead a team.
