Describe the moment
you realized “what
you wanted to do
when you grew up.”
What motivated you?
If you could change
one thing about
yourself, what would
it be and why?
I realized that I wanted to pursue a career in
the digital communications field during high
school. At the time, I just knew that I loved
creating things. I took a media arts class
and instantly fell in love with digital design,
mainly because it allowed me to create things
in a seemingly whole new dimension. What
continues to motivate me is seeing the end
result of a project; the time that was spent
brainstorming, experimenting, and refining,
comes together to construct a product of my
own creation, and having the chance to show
those creations to the world is what drives me.
One trait I would like to change and improve
would be my indecisiveness. When working
on new projects there are so many paths my
mind goes down for the design. There is always
an afterthought that would counter in how
the project could have looked, but in the end I
reassure myself that the style that was chosen
is the most appropriate for the project, and
that the other ideas would be better suited for a
future project.
