What is the most
important thing
you learned from
your internship/
international
exchange?
After completing a few jobs as a project manager
at Marks, I found that clear communication
significantly aided my success in my work
environment. In project management, effective
conveyance of ideas is so important because the
nature of the job is largely communication-based
– whether that communication is with clients,
designers, managers, or other colleagues. I
found that honing this skill incited higher
quality results in my work, which in turn helped
me succeed through the course of my internship.
What is your plan
after graduation?
T
After graduation, I plan to work in the industry
while I further my education in the form of
another degree or diploma. While my interests
lie in the graphic communications field, I
am fascinated by mechanical engineering
and other technical sciences. I think that
a combination of expertise in graphic
communications management and mechanical
engineering would put me in a position to
work in exciting, specialized roles that would
leave me feeling satisfied with myself and my
educational accomplishments.
