What is the most
important thing
you learned from
your internship/
international
exchange?
The most important thing I’ve learned
during my internship is the importance of
sustainability practices in the print industry. I
had the privilege of being exposed to a company
that is committed to delivering sustainable
practices, reducing not only their own carbon
footprint but helping their clients achieve these
practices to their business. I’ve noticed that
their purpose isn’t to generate revenue, but to be
able to offer an ethical alternative to consumers.
This exposure inspired me to continue to grow
my career under companies or corporations who
are willing to make such initiatives!

your greatest
achievements/
accomplishments
at GCM?

My greatest achievements was being a part
of the RyeTAGA team during my third year at
GCM. It has been an amazing experience for me
to have been in a role where I was able to develop
the concept of the book and execute its design
with my wonderful team of associate members.
It is incredibly rewarding to know that all of
our hard work had paid off in the form of the
physical, printed book. This opportunity had
really brought to light for me how real projects
are executed in industry and given me a better
respect for all the work involved in the process.
