What do you think
is the future of the
print industry?
What is your plan
after graduation?
The future for the print industry is going to
see a lot of growth in many different sectors of
the industry. While longer print runs will be
declining in the future, areas such as packaging
and shorter print runs will become the strong
stable sector for print. Furthermore, there
will be many new emerging opportunities for
the printing industry to grow such as print
automation, expanded gamut printing and
variable data printing.
Currently, my short-term plan after graduating
from GCM is to work in the printing industry to
develop a stronger understanding of the industry,
trends and areas of growth. My main long term
goal is to open up a business. While I currently
do not know what type of business I will be
opening, I hope that my future experiences and
opportunities will help serve as an important
foundation in my business adventure.
