If you could add
a new course to
GCM, what would
it be and why?
If you could change
one thing about
yourself, what would
it be and why?
M
I would recommend including courses
specifically to user experience, user interface,
and interactive design. Digital media is growing,
and those in both print and digital output
should have an understanding of how humans
read, interact, and view designs and material.
Websites, apps, and interactive designs require
different approaches than static imagery. I
would recommend these courses along with a
design-oriented GCM concentration.
One thing I’ve been working on is being more
active and vocal in the communities that interest
me. This not only includes GCM-related areas
but also Ryerson and occupational communities.
There is so much to learn from others, and
there’s value in speaking to those who share
similar interests. I plan to involve myself in such
communities to both learn from, and further
expand upon these studies of interest.
