What is the most
important thing
you learned from
your internship/
international
exchange?
Initially, I wanted to get into an internship
heavily focused on graphic design but I ended
up in an investment firm along Adelaide in the
Financial District. Believe it or not, it was a
position I did not expect to aqcuire at all, but I
enjoyed the learning opportunity. But one thing
I took from my internship that I find the most
important was being assertive, confident, bold,
yet humble in my field – skills and talent alike.
Stepping into an industry that knows very little
about the print/graphic industry, I came in
with what I learned at GCM and enhanced by
this company.

What is your plan
after graduation?

Honestly, as much as I am ambitious and
proactive with planning for my future career,
I remain still and invest time in inquiring. I
do believe that God will lead me in the right
direction so long as I let Him willingly. With
that said... after graduation, I’ll be mindful and
considerate where I plan to start applying. I
definitely do not want to enter a job and regret
being there the next couple of years.
