Describe the moment
you realized “what
you wanted to do
when you grew up.”
What motivated you?
During my internship, I came to the realization
that versatility is crucial to the industry. I have
always had an interest in both marketing and
design, and my internship provided me with
the opportunity to work in both environments.
The workplace is not always perfect so there
are often times where you will have to complete
jobs you are not familiar with or work with other
departments in order to complete a project.
Due to the industry being versatile in itself,
it is important for us to also be able to work
in changing environments over a variety of
platforms to offer a high-quality product.

What is your plan
after graduation?

Upon graduation, I plan on gaining more
experience in the industry. I would like to
explore a second internship that is in relation
to Project Management. After completing a
work term as a Graphic Design Coordinator in
my fourth year, I have determined that I would
prefer to improve my Project Management
skills and work in a larger company that would
potentially expose me to more diverse projects
and challenges. After gaining more knowledge
and experience, I feel that a career in Project
Management will be best suited for my
interests and skills.
