If you could add
a new course to
GCM, what would
it be and why?
If I could add a new course to GCM, it would be
a class that would teach basics of coding. Some
of the classes we had in the past (e.g. GCM362,
GCM320) included writing codes whether
in Microsoft Excel or Adobe Dreamweaver
which had some students confused because
they’ve never coded before. Having a class that
introduces the concept will help many students
get into basic coding and move on to more
advanced parts of coding. It would be part of our
courses in 1 st or 2 nd year.
If you could change
one thing about
yourself, what would
it be and why?
K
If I could change one thing about myself, it would
be my time management skills. I have to balance
time between work, school and social life better
than I do now. It’s easy for me to get distracted
while focusing on school work for the most part.
I’m thinking about using a day planner since I
keep up with everything mentally. A good plan is
start to better time management as it will help
me keep track of what I need to do, when I need
to do it.
