What do you think
is the future of the
print industry?
In the next few years, I believe that digital
printing and new inkjet technologies will be
making themselves more known to printers in
a big way. As the capabilities of digital printing
draw closer and closer to offset technologies it
leaves us all a very exciting time to be a part of
the printing industry. I believe that soon offset
printing will have to compete more directly
with digital work to account for print quality in
addition to price-based attributes. I am excited
to see the changes that will happen and hope to
be a part of making some of this change myself.
How do you plan to
make your mark in
the print industry?
I hope to spend time working at the forefront of
development in the printing industry. I would
like to work on creating new standards and
ways of doing things that influence the industry
across the world. There is a massive amount of
innovation currently taking place in the printing
industry, especially in the digital area with
things such as high-speed inkjet and digital
finishing. One of my core goals for the time I
spend in this industry is to make sure that some
part of all this innovation comes from me.
